Door to Door Service
For all government staff transfers
Door to Door Service for government staff transfers refers to a relocation service that includes moving of their household items from their current residence to their new residence, as well as assistance with packing, loading, unloading and transportation as well as insurance coverage.
Sea freight is mainly used in accordance with Pekeliling Perbendaharaan Malaysia. All moving costs are paid by the government to Forwarding/Moving Companies like Nizaf Mover & Logistics Sdn Bhd.
Officers who are qualified for this benefit will be given a certain space of Cubic Meters to be allowed in a shipping container. Their household and vehicle will be shipped by container if their new destination requires sea freight (to Malaysia Peninsular, Sabah & Sarawak) and by land transport for local move.

How long does it take to ship a cargo by domestic sea freight?
It all depends on the location and destination of the cargo. For sea freight, on average shipments take 2-3 weeks from shipping date depending on shipping schedule.
What causes sea freight cargo to become delayed?
Vessels essentially move in a giant loop, calling from port to port then back again. If one tiny delay occurs at one port it can cause a chain reaction for all the other ports that the particular vessel calls in on, this can add days or even weeks to a transit time.
What is the Cubic Meter (m3) Qualification for government staff in accordance with Pekeliling Perbendaharaan Malaysia?
The government stated in the memo, for single personnel, only 5.23m3 are allowed and 10.47m3 for married personnel without children. For more details please contact our Salesperson to get a better view about this qualification.
What should I do if there’s any damage to my cargo?
If your cargo is damaged during shipping, all damage should be noted on your Delivery Order form. Contact your Salesperson immediately to proceed with the damage report and reimbursement by following our guidelines. Terms and Conditions apply.
What kind of transport to be used for my household move?
As required by the government, we offer bonded type of lorries for all government staff transfers to ensure your household is secure along the way.
